Summer Ease

Finally I finished this piece This is an entry to 's contest cici88.deviantart.com/journal/… . For the "don't let my hand" category. I really really hope that they look at least a bit similar to their original looks...  I tried... I'm also sorry if I forgot anything important . Mahel seems like a really awesome character, her hair is very beautiful, that's why the contest caught my eye

And now for the drawing: I congratulate myself on making an actual BACKGROUND, it's like achievement of the year or something  , plus there are two people in the drawing . Besides the background which I'm proud of there are some mistakes of which I'm not that joyful. I was also afraid that I'm gonna screw up her hair by over detailing it, but everything turned out fine. The lake looks pretty too, though it's quite illogical for water in th forest to look like that... XD The lighting is a mess at places too and the general composition is not top notch either.

Maybe this drawing will cheer somebody who lives covered in snow by reminding them of beautiful summer days  . (Though there is no snow here...  )
